Hi there, I’m Hunter, a graphic designer and illustrator and based in Portland, OR.

In my career of more than 12 years, I’ve worked in various sectors including the educational, publishing, entertainment, health & science, tech industry, and more! After leaving Portland State University, I began by working as a type, illustration, and layout designer for Dark Horse Comics & Publishing.  More recently I've found agency work connecting me with clients such as Adidas, Intel, Oregon Health & Science University, Oregon State University, Yakima Products, Campfire Columbia, and several local creative agencies including Caffelli and R/WEST. 

In the last four years, I have also worked as the Illustration Lead for STAR Autism Support, and as the Senior Graphic Designer at Hawthorn Senior Living.

I am a highly adaptable individual who enjoys a creative challenge. I’m able to work completely independently but have no problems operating under supervision and welcome criticism. Abandoning an idea for the sake of a greater creative output or a cleverer idea has always been one of my strong suits. I find beauty in all of the mundane and appreciate that everything presented is a matter of perspective and persuasion. I like to lend a hand, whether it's within my department lines or not. I'm grateful to be allowed to do what I do, and that gratitude spreads to every part of the process on which I have influence.
